Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer is made from ammonium and vinylpyrrolidone, a precursor to PVP.

There is conflicting information as to whether Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer is considered a microplastic. Some environmental conversation organizations consider it to be a microplastic. While others have put it on their list as an unverified ingredient of concern. However, they do not list it as an official microplastic.
