Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer is a synthetic ingredient made from acrylic acid.

WHAT DOES IT DO?

It’s often used to gel, emulsify and thicken formulations. Additionally, it also has film-forming and skin conditioning capabilities.

WHAT IS IT DERIVED FROM?

Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer is made from acrylic acid which is most commonly derived from petroleum.

IS IT SENSITIVE SKIN FRIENDLY?

If you are sensitive to petrochemicals such as synthetic fragrance, benzene, mineral oil, paraffin wax, polyethylene glycol, or isopropyl alcohol. You may have a sensitivity to this ingredient. Also, if you are sensitive to sodium laureth sulfate or sodium lauryl sulfate, you may encounter some sensitivity to this as well.
